Abhinav Bhalla

Abhinav leads the firm’s technology and intellectual property practice. He is an intellectual property lawyer and a registered Indian patent agent. He trained as an engineer (B.Tech) before he became a lawyer, and holds an LL.M. from King’s College London. He brings both to his work: understanding the technology a client has built, and the legal strategy needed to protect it.

He advises clients ranging from early-stage startups to multinational companies across the life of an innovation, from first filings and portfolio strategy to licensing, monetisation and litigation. His work covers patents, trade marks, copyright, designs and trade secrets, technology contracts and data protection, and he aims to turn complex legal problems into clear, practical advice.
