A delay of 1,506 days in appealing against a deemed abandonment was not condoned. The Registry produced despatch numbers and dates for both the examination report and the abandonment order, and no change of agent had ever been notified to it, so the claim of ignorance was unconvincing and reflected a lack of due diligence.
