Headnote
An order running to some thirty pages was almost entirely extracts from ten cited documents, and its operative portion combined them by lifting phrases in order to conclude that the invention was obvious. Counsel handed up a marked-up copy of that operative portion showing which words had been taken from which document. The order was bereft of reasoning and could not be sustained.
Disposition
Set aside and remanded for reconsideration. No opinion expressed on the merits.
